Lake Hartwell Axe Co. is looking for a part time Axe Throwing Coach to join our team!

The coach's role at Lake Hartwell Axe Co. is to ensure that our customers are remaining safe while having fun & building memories. This job requires someone who is outgoing, enthusiastic, detail oriented & a quick learner.
Axe Throwing experience is not required. We will provide you training in everything from the basics of axe throwing to teaching others how to safely and accurately stick an axe!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide guests with an enthusiastic & memorable experience.
- Ensuring all safety protocols are being followed for the safety of our staff & guests.
- Safely teach axe throwing to our guests & provide continuous support throughout their experience.
- Oversee matches & games between guests.
- Quality control of facilities, ranges, & equipment.
- Preparing food and drinks.
- Serving food and drinks.
- Maintaining a safe and clean venue through janitorial duties.
The ideal candidate:
- Excellent communications skills. Written & verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to engage with groups of all sizes. Outgoing & hospitable.
- Punctual & dependable.
- Available to work afternoons, weeknights, weekends and occasional holidays.
The schedule requires availability to work the following days & times:
Thursday 5pm - 9pm
Friday 5pm - 11pm
Saturday 2pm - 11pm
Sunday 2pm - 8pm
The above schedule is subject to change as summer approaches. More hours are likely to be available.
Please note: This position requires standing for extended periods of time, lifting heavy objects (30lbs ). This position also requires serving alcohol (18 years of age required).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
